1. School Outreach & Scholastic Distribution – Kyotera District (2023)
NAWE conducted a major school outreach in Kyotera, reaching 8 schools and distributing over 9,000 scholastic items (books, pencils, pens, crayons, rulers, math sets). This helped 1,200+ learners stay in school and boosted morale among teachers and parents.
A pilot rollout of NAWE’s phonics reading program was done in 5 early learning centers and 3 lower primary schools in Masaka. Over 500 children aged 3–8 benefited from the early literacy materials and phonics-based reading guides.
This 3-day residential camp gathered over 300 youth from across the region for intensive worship training, prayer, and discipleship sessions. The event helped revive spiritual discipline and birthed youth worship groups in 4 sub-counties.
In the wake of the COVID-19 aftershocks, NAWE launched a charity drive, providing food, clothing, scholastic materials, and prayer support to 60 vulnerable families. This initiative focused on orphaned and single-parent households.
Over 70 women, especially youth and single mothers, were trained in small business development, saving groups, and biblical financial principles under NAWE’s empowerment wing. Many participants have since launched small income-generating projects.
As part of the Fluxx Volleyball Academy, NAWE organized a 3-month sports and mentorship program for 50+ street and ghetto youths in Masaka. The project ended with a friendly tournament and several youths being connected to vocational skilling centers.
