At NAWE Ministries Uganda, we believe that sports are a powerful tool for transformation, healing, and youth empowerment. That’s why we launched Fluxx Volleyball Academy a vibrant initiative dedicated to reaching vulnerable youth, especially those from street and ghetto communities, through the love of sport and mentorship.
The academy is more than just a training ground for athletic skills it is a safe space where children and teens learn discipline, teamwork, self-confidence, and purpose. Through structured volleyball training sessions, mentorship, and discipleship, we instill values like integrity, perseverance, and respect. Players are taught not only how to excel on the court but how to lead in life.
We intentionally target children and youth who have limited access to structured education, recreation, or guidance. The academy serves as a bridge helping them discover hidden talents, escape the cycles of poverty and crime, and find a sense of belonging in a positive, Christ-centered environment.
Our long-term vision is to see these youth transformed into champions not just in sports, but in life — who can one day give back to their communities as coaches, leaders, and role models. We also aim to participate in national tournaments, school competitions, and outreach games that use sport as a platform to share the message of hope.
